The false demand created in the Iranian car market marked the growth of production and, unlike other countries that saw a decline in car production with the spread of the corona, the production boom in Iran.
Khodrocar - With the global outbreak of the Corona virus and the closure of car factories in North America, Europe and Latin America, global car production is projected to decline by 1.4 million units this year.

But the latest figures released by the International Motor Vehicle Organization show a 32% drop in world car production in the first half of 2020.

The virus originated in Wuhan, China, the hub of the world's automobile industry, and the Covid-19 epidemic in Wuhan, followed by damage to the automotive industry in the city, soon spread to other automakers in the world due to a lack of parts. On the other hand, the decline in demand was another reason for the decline in production of global automakers.

According to the latest report of the International Organization of Motor Vehicles, during the first half of 2019, 46 million and 66 thousand cars were produced in the world, which decreased to 31 million and 131 thousand units in the first half of this year, of which 14 million and 935 One thousand fewer cars (equivalent to 32.4%) were produced compared to the same period last year.

European car production in the first half of 2020 decreased by 38.4% compared to the previous year and reached 6 million 941 thousand units.

Meanwhile, the American automaker was not safe from the bite of Covid-19; According to the International Organization of Motor Vehicles in the United States, production fell by 38.4% in the first half of this year. US car production fell to 3,494,000 units in the first half of this year.

But in the meantime, China, which has been the source of the corona outbreak in the world, has been among the countries that have seen the least decline in production in their industry. China's car production in the first half of 2020 decreased by only 16.8% compared to the same period last year and reached 10 million 112 thousand units.

According to this report, Asia was the center of world car production in the first half of 2020. Asian car production in the first half of the year amounted to 17 million 762 units, which is a decrease of 25.4% compared to the same period last year.

The decline in car production in the world was due to reduced demand due to the outbreak of the Corona virus, while statistics show that Iran is the only car manufacturer that has seen growth in production during this period. So that in the first half of this year, Iran has produced a total of 473,461 vehicles, which is a 20% increase over the same period last year.

This trend shows that the false demand created in Iran, despite the planned plans, is still not controlled, and this issue has made Iran one of the top producers, while the Fitch Institute had previously predicted due to sanctions. And the lack of spare parts supply, we will see a decrease in car production in Iran.
