Meanwhile, with the increase in the exchange rate, there is an emphasis on reforming the pricing of domestic raw materials, and it seems that with the entry of Minister Samat into this issue, we should soon see pricing reform in the parent industry, including the steel industry.
Khodrocar - In a situation where the parliament has approved the formula for determining the price of raw materials based on the FOB of the Persian Gulf, which is now trying to change this procedure to prevent further losses of upstream industries, including the automotive industry.

Since determining the price of downstream industries in the automotive industry based on this formula has already caused huge losses to this propulsion industry, now the houses are seeking to correct this trend while preventing losses in the production sector and prevent further losses in industries. Grow up. Although there is no doubt that there will be resistance in this direction, but since the parts manufacturers are also looking to implement this issue, it seems that we should see this happen soon.

Activists in this field believe that today, by calculating the price of domestic raw materials, the automotive industry is the victim of this pricing method, and in a situation where the selling price of cars is mandatory, the prices of raw materials are free, which hurts parts and automakers.

"The government can provide these inputs to automakers in a supportive manner, and in addition, these companies are required to make the production process transparent to the public based on cost.” Aboalfazl Khalkhali, expert of auto industry told khodrocar reporter.

"Determining the price of domestic raw materials on the basis of world prices requires the domestic market to conform to the conditions of world markets, and undoubtedly determining and selling raw materials on the basis of world prices will be reasonable if the domestic market activity is in line with international market conditions.” He added.

"Selling domestic raw material prices based on world and FOB Gulf prices will upset the balance of prices in the car market and market conditions. The automotive industry must adapt to the conditions of global markets and then set prices based on world prices.” He said.

"Currently in the country in the field of decision-making and exchange rate stabilization and monitoring of production inputs in the automotive sector, as well as a sectoral view on the issue of automobiles, various comments are made that need to be reconsidered in this regard.” He mentioned.

At present, the main raw materials of the automotive industry are steel sheets, while steel production is not very currency dependent and almost most of the required materials are produced domestically, so it is necessary to sell steel with a reasonable profit, while the Minister Samat Jadid also has a serious plan to reform the prices of raw materials for downstream industries, which seems to enter the implementation phase soon.
