While there is a production capacity of 30,000 heavy vehicles in the automotive industry, this year's plan is to produce 42,000 commercial vehicles and it is expected that with the participation of 14 manufacturers of these vehicles, half of the projected amount will be achieved.
Khodrocar - After concluding a contract for the modernization of a thousand trucks with the participation of Iran Khodro Diesel, the head of the Ministry of Silence announced a reduction in the price of these cars at the same time as the increase in production. Meanwhile, activists in this field believe that the current price increase is due to the lack of orders for domestic products, and undoubtedly, with increasing demand, prices will fall sharply.

"At present, this capacity is so high that Iran Khodro Diesel alone has the capacity to produce 12,000 commercial vehicles per year, which will be extended to 13 other production plants.” Amir Jafar pour, deputy manager of transportation affairs in ministry of industry told khodrocar reporter.

"The production capacity of 30,000 vehicles in real capacity shows the high production capacity of these cars in the country, which considering the nominal capacity of this number is much higher. It has long been emphasized that the pleasure of importing is in nothing else.” He added.

"The projected number this year is the production of 42,000 heavy, semi-heavy and truck commercial vehicles, which is a large number, which seems to be a jihadist action and taking into account all aspects of the issue, at least this year with the participation of all power manufacturers. There will be production of 19,000 commercial vehicles.” He said.

"With the current situation, it seems that there are foreign exchange resources for imports, but there is no determination for domestic production, which is based on the high price of domestic products. Undoubtedly, with high ordering, prices will be broken and reduced.” He continued.
