Failure to allocate the required currency, along with other challenges such as pricing parts with 11,000 toman of dollar price and non-implementation of incentives in internalization tables, has led to previous problems in the parts industry, which in addition to closing parts manufacturing units, the phenomenon of defective cars.
Khodrocar - Meanwhile, the allocation of Nimayi currency to the automotive industry will be stopped this year and its supply will be provided through the currency obtained from exports, provided that the source of the export is clear. Meanwhile, parts manufacturers are declining day by day, so that according to them, we will soon see a wave of bankruptcy of parts manufacturers.

"Import in return for export is the only way to provide the currency needed by parts manufacturers, and to date no other currency has been provided to automakers and parts manufacturers, so that the process of allocating currency this year has faced many problems and obstacles.” Arash Mohebi Nejad, secretary of part industry association told khodrocar reporter.

"Rightnow, part makers are making their deals of with the 11 thousand toman of dollar price but now the price of dollar is about 20 thousand toman and unfortunately correcting prices of contracts is happening slowly and soon they will face with different problems in supplying parts and we will price the happening of incomplete cars.” He added.

"At the same time, the new round of bankruptcy of parts manufacturers will start, because the financial capacity of parts manufacturers will be weakened day by day. According to the plans, the fourth internalization table was supposed to be completed by the end of last year, but due to Corona's spread, the issue was delayed, and we are now implementing the preparations for the fourth internalization table, as well as the fifth table.” He said.

"Resources are limited, and automakers are facing limitations, while internal restrictions such as inspections and the entry of regulatory bodies into the field have closed the hands and feet of automakers, and we hope to see these restrictions removed soon.” He mentioned.

"Incentives such as buying at the price of foreign parts and paying resources like foreign countries were to be implemented. Undoubtedly, the economy will find its way, and if these incentives are not allocated, we will not see a successful internalization project.” He said.
