76.2 percent decrease in producing commercial vehicles in the seven months of this year compare to last year happened while experts says that ban of CKD importation is the main reason for this matter.
Khodrocar – According to the statistics of ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade production of Bus, Mini Bus, Middle Bus, Trucks and etc. had reduced significantly but commercial automakers believe that this reduction and problems related to sanctions and production of this vehicles never stopped.

While the cost of bypassing sanctions has led to increased production costs, activists are still looking for solutions and are implementing measures to address the shortcomings of the production of cars rather than commercial production vacuum to some extent.

"In the context of the embargo, the entry of CKD into the country forbidden for production, and foreign partners of the traders also adhere to the embargo, preventing the piece from being delivered to Iran.” Majid Madani, expert of auto industry told khodrocar reporter.

"The cost of circumventing sanctions has increased and imposes additional costs on the manufacturer, but we are still looking for new solutions.” He said.

"Recently, Rhine, Tomorrow and Fiat Ducato, a diesel minibus maker, are recruiting for the purpose of structuring sales of those cars, but it is unclear what has happened in the field of passenger cars. They have met and are now turning to three-year-olds.” He said.

"According to the legislation, the government allows European cars under three years to enter the country in order not to cause problems for the public transport fleet, but on the other hand to provide after-sales service to these cars.” He added.

"It is currently being implemented in the commercial vehicle sector, but mandatory standards for commercial vehicles have been introduced, and the National Standards Organization has insisted that it has become a bottleneck in the internalization of commercial vehicle parts.” He said.

In these circumstances, it is reasonable to take into account current production constraints to give auto makers more opportunity to comply with new standards and revise when implementing the Eighty-Five standards.
