Khodrocar reports;
General Director of Iran’s Automotive industry, announced the signing agreement between IDRO and Renault this week.
Amirhossein Ghanati told Khodrocar journalist regarding this signing agreement: "This contract will be signed this week but there is no specific date yet.”

In response to the question that is there any changes in the contract, he commented: "No, there is no change in this contract and will be signed based on the first contract.”

A draft of this contract has been signed between these two companies on October, 1394.

According to this contract, a joint-venture company will be created to produce joint products. 40 percent of its shares are owned by IDRO and 60 percent will be owned by Renault. 

The initial capacity of the Renault and IDRO plant will be 150,000 units annually, with two new Symbol and Duster models being produced as the first products in 2018.
