According to Khodrocar, Iran Standard and Quality Inspection-ISQI company, responsible for assessing the automobile production based on quality standards has just released the latest reports regarding the quality rankings of the domestic vehicles yet on production line in Iran. The recent report includes last month (Tir/June-July) vehicle production figures equals 87933 units that shows a slight reduction by 1313 units in comparison to the month before (Khordad/May-June) production figures. As before only one percent of the last month production includes the commercial vehicle market with 8 different models and the rest are light vehicles including 51 different models.
Light vehicles
Full grades come with 5 stars but vehicles like new Mazda 3, Suzuki Grand
Vitara, Hyundai i10 and i20, KIA Cerato, Tondar 90 Automatic and Automatic
Plus, Renault Sundero, Pars Tondar and Peugeot 207 Automatic as the top of the
rank vehicles could only come up with 4 stars.
In the 75 to 100 million Tomans vehicles Chery Tiggo 5 and JAC S5 came up with 3 stars the same as Chery Arrizo 5, Changan CS35, JAC J5 and Brilliance H330 from 50 to 75 million Tomans segment vehicles. Yet from the very same segments Saipa Ario S300 could hit 2 stars and MVM New315 along with Kerman Khodro Lifan X60 didn’t make any further than only 1 star.
In the very low segment of 20 to 50 million Tomans Pars Khodro Tondar 90, IKCO Runna, IKCO DFM H30 Cross, IKCO Dena and IKCO Samand Soren along with five other vehicles from Saipa, the 111, 131, 132 and Tiba (the known model as substitute for Saipa Pride) all stacked only 2 stars but at the very same segment other vehicles such as IKCO Peugeot 405, IKCO Peugeot Pars IKCO Samand, Saipa Saina and Tiba2 along with MVM 110s just made 1 star.
