In the coming days, the six-month production jump plan in the automotive industry will start, and the parts manufacturers, as the first role in this goal, are struggling with a serious lack of liquidity and without fulfilling the predictions made if the current trend continues as it should be.
Khodrocar - Parts manufacturers have repeatedly stressed the need to pay their claims on time and have declared it their lifeblood, and now, with this increase, they claim to stop the production of the parts industry in the near future.

On the other hand, there are several calls to update the parts manufacturers, while activists in this field announce that only quarterly contracts have been updated so far. Undoubtedly, calculating the prices with 11500 Tomans in the circumstances that now the price of the currency has more than doubled this amount, will impose heavy costs on them.

"Currently, the contracts have been definitively updated until the end of the first quarter of the year, although some of these contracts are still waiting to be updated. By holding a joint meeting with the automakers, it was decided to update the contracts for the first six months of the year by the end of January. Month also 9-month contracts to be reviewed.” Arash Mohebi Nejad, secretary of part makers association told khodrocar reporter.

"But the problem does not end here and it is necessary to pay the amounts as well, because the overdue claims have skyrocketed and in case of updating the contracts, these claims will undoubtedly increase.” He added.

"The purchase of raw materials and supplies is done in cash and even with advance payment, and the supplier of domestic raw materials does not sell the materials on a long-term basis, so that Mobarakeh Steel, Copper or Petrochemical sells their materials in They sell commodity exchanges or receive the amount in advance and then proceed to provide raw materials, in which the parts maker is located between two large millstones, one of which is the supplier of raw materials, most of which Are state-owned and on the other hand are carmakers which are big companies.” He continued.

"In this situation, the component maker will suffer the highest damage, while without liquidity, no action can be taken. This year, which had reached a good point with the efforts of the component makers, will decline.” He said.

"More than 10 thousand billion tomans have not been postponed, part of which has been assigned in the form of debt purchase, tripartite contracts and introduction to the bank, but more than 10 thousand billion tomans has not been assigned yet.” He claimed.

"Now the payment of receivables has reached about eight months, while in the past the amount of receivables was not so much due to the low price of currency and raw materials.” He asked.

"Part of the liquidity problem for component makers and automakers is the rising rate of production inputs because much less liquidity was needed per unit of production last year or two years ago, so the liquidity needed by manufacturers has tripled since early last year. If no one has provided this liquidity and the banks have resumed the contractionary operation.” He called.
