While efforts are continuing, relying on solutions such as changing the pricing of cars, which auto industry activists believe, these measures will not work until the presence of the Competition Council in the automotive industry and the council needs to make changes in the executive system and pricing formula to prevent further losses for carmakers.
Khodrocar - In the latest special commission of production leap, which was held in the presence of the Vice President for Science and Technology, the Governor of the Central Bank, the deputies of the Ministry of Industry, automakers and parts manufacturers, while announcing the goal of car production in 1400, decisions were made regarding car pricing.

It was decided that car manufacturers would be responsible for pricing low-volume cars in order to compensate for the loss of mandatory pricing of high-volume cars, which the Competition Council is still in charge of pricing.

In this situation, the question arises that to what extent can the limited circulation of cars whose pricing is at the disposal of automakers be compensated for the losses caused by the pricing of over-circulation?

"This measure does not lead to compensation for the losses of car manufacturers, because the amount of production of this category of cars is not enough to compensate for the losses caused by the mandatory pricing of over-circulation.” Ahmad Nemat Bakhsh, secretary of Iran’s automakers association told khodrocar reporter.

"This measure does not lead to compensation for the losses of car manufacturers, because the amount of production of this category of cars is not enough to compensate for the losses caused by the mandatory pricing of over-circulation.” He said.

"Since the plan to organize the car industry and market has not been finalized yet and is in the Industries Commission, the Competition Council will currently determine the final price of the car. In the proposed plan, the base price was set by the Competition Council, on the basis of which it was announced that since the Competition Council has been determining the base price of car manufacturers since 1391, this industry has always been loss-making.” He clarified.

"The association suggested that this plan be implemented on a trial basis for one year, provided that it acts like the performance of Mobarakeh Steel Company, so that by offering it on the commodity exchange and selling the product, the company earns its income, and after one year and observing the effects of this A decision should be made in this regard, but this request has not been answered yet.” He said.

"Simultaneously with this plan, the Minister of Industry in a letter to the economic headquarters of the government requested not to sell cars with losses, and the car industry is waiting for the implementation of one of these proposals.” Nemat Bakshs tells.

"If this trend continues, we will continue to see losses for automakers, and at the same time, the automaker can’t have a plan to improve quality due to losses, and the demands of parts manufacturers will also increase.” He says.

"The biggest loss for automakers is from the Competition Council system. Although the former Minister of Industry previously imposed heavy billions in losses on automakers through mandatory pricing, the council's insistence on mandatory pricing continues to inflict the most losses on automakers.” He continued.

"A review of statistics from this year's production program shows that more than one hundred thousand billion tomans of rent has been distributed, while carmakers are constantly losing money and will not need to receive facilities if prices are corrected.” He added.
