"Domestic incentive packages to encourage investment in the parts industry and deepen domestic manufacturing of special parts and materials have not yet been implemented, while with the implementation of these packages, the basic goals of the domestic manufacturing movement, which is to reduce dependence on imports, will be achieved sooner.” Mehdi Motaleb Zadeh, head of internalization committee of homogenous industries association told khodrocar reporter.
"The result of these internalizations is € 343 million in foreign exchange savings, which account for 40% of the planned foreign exchange savings.” He said.
"In the first table, 82% of the number and 60% of the currency, respectively, in the second table, 65% of the number and 70% of the currency, in the third table, 57% of the number and 27% of the currency, and in the fourth table, 54.5%, the number and 25% of the currency.” He mentioned.
"Advances in in-house desks are increasing the investment needed to build domestically, although most of these investments are in foreign currency, as parts become more complex and require higher technology, but as investments continue and some internal problems persist, these investments become more difficult.” He called.
"The table will be set up soon, which will include 16 sets and 43 pieces, and is projected to lose $ 242 million, with 10 incentives offered to government agencies as well as automakers.” He said.
"According to initial forecasts, 5 internalization tables were to be formed, but according to the latest decision, these tables were to continue until self-sufficiency in the production of more parts, however, parts that are produced domestically are economical. It is not economical, it has never been localized and it will continue to be supplied through imports.” He continued.
"At the same time, some steel parts that domestic steelmakers cannot produce domestically are also on the list of parts that are always supplied through imports, so no country in the world can claim 100% self-sufficiency and completely domestic production.” He said.
"In the field of government incentives, the allocation of low-interest facilities, the allocation of resources from the National Development Fund, the development of tax incentives, media and advertising support, the protection of intellectual property and the prevention of the import of domestically made parts are considered. Another incentive is to buy at a cost equivalent to imports at the beginning and then lower prices in the long run.” He mentioned.
