"One of the products of this family will be an electric car, which will be the cheapest electric car in the country, and since the production of this car is considered a new movement in the automobile industry, we need to hold many meetings with different groups in this field.” He continued.
The Director General of the Automobile Industries Office of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade also states regarding the expected price range for the economic car: ”the price range considered for this car is a product family and from the beginning to the end it has a price range that It will cover starting from 150 million tomans and up to 260 million tomans, which will include different products with different options.”
Emphasizing the modernity of this car despite its low price, he adds: This car will definitely pass the necessary safety tests and its competitors will be Hyundai I10, Mitsubishi Mirage and Suzuki Alto.
"Major suppliers in this project have announced their readiness, therefore it is expected that this project will start its work with more than 90% internalization. The best in the world in these areas. So that the best products available in this field have been modeled by domestic engineers.” He said.
He announced the trial production of this product in Bahman 1402 and stated: At present, the prototypes have been produced and we are conducting their initial tests.
