These days, while whispers of the lifting of sanctions and the return of the United States to the UN Security Council are more powerful than before, this process obscures the fate of domestic projects.
Khodrocar - An examination of the actions of automakers in recent years shows that projects that were started without the presence of foreign partners in the automotive industry did not have a good fate after achieving JCPOA, and many of them were stopped, such as the Saipa sp100 project.

Although the automakers have been trying to bring new projects to fruition since the resumption of sanctions, and even transformed the Peugeot 301 project, which was a product of JCPOA, into another vehicle with major changes, the overall performance shows that the automakers have taken advantage of the opportunities created. They do not use it properly.

Therefore, with the possibility of re-emergence, the question arises as to whether, with the agreement and the possibility of foreign companies returning to the automotive industry, the projects that are currently being localized will be forgotten or not?

"This could be another opportunity for policymakers to learn from the past about the effects of the automotive industry's dependency and plan to end it.” Mehdi Motaleb Zadeh, the manager of local production in part industry association told khodrocar reporter.

"With the right policy, not only will there be no dependency, but there will be a two-way interaction with technology owners that both the parts industry and the automotive industry can experience growth and dynamism again.” He said.

"One of the proposed incentives was for the contracts to remain stable for the time of return on investment, and in the event of any eventuality, the automaker would be required by contract to purchase these parts from domestic parts manufacturers.” He mentioned.

"In this case, if an investment is made by the component maker, in case of any problems, it will not be damaged or damaged. Undoubtedly, parts manufacturing capital does not belong to him alone and is a national asset, so adhering to these obligations can prevent any threat to the parts industry.” He said.

"The re-enactment and lifting of sanctions could, while reducing dependence on the component maker, provide an opportunity to resume exporting parts to other countries.” He called.

"The fifth roundtable was scheduled to take place in September or September this year, but officials at the Ministry of Industry and IDRO have not yet announced their readiness to launch the desk, which is one of the reasons for not holding it, although the fourth domestic desk was also held semi-virtually at the time of the virus outbreak.” He said.
