In a situation where large automobile companies are moving towards integration, not only is this issue still unknown in the Iranian automotive industry, but also active automakers, like competitors, have followed up on the actions taken by the companies, whose current performance has failed to materialize. Khodrocar - The automobile industry is one of the most important value-added industries in the economy of any country, and jihadist measures must be taken to get out of the crisis, which, according to integration experts, can be one of these options.

In the published reports on the diagnostics of the automotive industry and the strategies for the transformation of this industry, integration has been mentioned as one of the basic leaders. According to experts, one of the requirements for integration in this industry is the level of companies based on the financial level of customers and the determination of management in decisions and implementation.

Although integration will reduce R&D costs and increase the sales market, by taking the necessary measures and using government tariff tools, while opening up a competitive environment, it will prevent the uncontrolled increase of imports and the reduction of the quality of domestically produced cars.

A look at successful integration experiences among the world's major automakers shows the success of this in reducing costs and developing new products. Therefore, the big car companies have a great desire to merge and welcome it. The latest move is the merger of Peugeot Citroën and Fiat Chrysler and the formation of the fourth largest car manufacturer in the world.

"The high costs and the need to increase circulation in order to produce economically justify the merger of automakers, so Peugeot France and Fiat merged due to high costs of design, research and development to break these costs, which in the near future will increase circulation and competition.” Amir Hossein Kakaei, expert of auto industry mentioned in a talk with khodrocar reporter. 

"This situation is while we currently have about 30 car companies in Iran, almost 28 of which will not have the title of car manufacturer in the world, because their highest circulation is 500 to 700 thousand cars.” Says he. 

"The small size of domestic companies and the lack of a large global carmaker in the field of car design, not just car manufacturing, is one of the challenges of the design industry, the solution can be to integrate these companies with international carmakers and eliminate structural problems.” He continued. 

"Under this pretext, we have witnessed the improvement of production lines, and this lack of transparency hinders the growth of the country and the presence of foreign investors in the field of research and development.” He said. 

"There is currently no car testing center in the country and we ship our products to Europe or China, which increases cost and time.” He added.

Undoubtedly, the solution will be effective in case of real privatization of Iran's automotive industry and entry into global markets, otherwise the merger of domestic automakers will not only not achieve the desired goals, but will lead to many problems in leading a larger state-owned company.
