Mehdi Dadfar, the secretary of the Automobile Importers Association, said in an interview with a car reporter about the approvals of this commission: "It has been about three years since the ban on importing cars to the free zones, and according to the law, only cars succeed in obtaining numbering licenses." They are one year old and there are no regulations for the import of second-hand cars in the country, because every car is required to provide a warranty at the time of after-sales service.

He adds: in order to fulfill the approvals of the Joint Commission, it is necessary to review these three obstacles that will lead to a change in the law.

Dadfar goes on to point out the reluctance of car owners in the free zones to receive a national license plate: What is the current incentive for the owner of the 2017 Tucson car, which is licensed to leave these zones three times a year, to pay 95% tax? 10% and 12% of other expenses to be able to receive a national license plate, while this car is currently traded at a price of one billion and 100 million Tomans on online sites.

The secretary of the Automobile Importers Association emphasizes that the regulators of these laws are not familiar with the issue and nevertheless seek to implement a decision to regulate the market: Currently, the cars in the free zones that are subject to this law are in the best condition. In the resolution of the Joint Commission, the government was obliged to regulate the market of imported cars, while identifying non-American foreign cars in the free zones by obtaining customs duties and commercial profits in accordance with the specified criteria, within one month from the date of notification of this law. Order and permit the import of non-US vehicles in free trade and industrial zones.

Also, the commercial profit rate should be adjusted in proportion to the type of car and the year of manufacture so that compared to market floor prices, it does not lead to unusual profits of more than 20% for importers and if we see an increasing trend between market floor prices and imports, the government It can revise the commercial interest rate.
