The sanctions against the two Iranian carmakers are being planned by the FDD Foundation, while activists in this field emphasize that after the difficult period of sanctions in the last two years, the train of the automobile industry has been turned on and these sanctions cannot cause renewed concern.

Khodrocar - More than two years have passed since the re-sanctions of Iran's auto industry, and during this period the most important strategy of this propulsion industry has been to reduce dependence by relying on the launch of the internalization movement. Now that the development of the automotive industry is underway, the FDD Foundation, in its latest plan, has called for a complete boycott of the Iranian automotive industry.

A part of the FDD tweet reads: "Iran's automotive sector is dominated by Iran Khodro and Saipa, which produce more than 90% of cars in Iran. "Washington has not yet imposed sanctions on the two companies and their subsidiaries." These programs are while experts in this field believe that the new sanctions will not have an effect on the Iranian car industry and the situation will undoubtedly not get worse than the current situation.

But in the meantime, the question arises as to how much the automakers have prepared themselves for a worse situation and future, and what will be the effects of this embargo on production and the car market?

"Certainly, the situation will not be worse than the current situation in any case, because the first industry that was sanctioned on August 4, 1997, was the automobile industry, which followed this French event by fleeing from Iran with investments of 400 million Euros. And the Chinese left Iran.” Amir Hossein Kakaei, expert of auto industry says.

"Most of the Chinese who cooperate with the Americans and control the American market refused to stay in Iran. Of course, the Chinese government did not force these companies to leave Iran, but the companies left Iran out of fear of Iran, and although some parts on the way, they prevented them from entering Iran.” He added.

"In the new round of sanctions, not only will anyone working with Iran be allowed to operate in the United States, but their financial statements will also be challenged, and those working with Iran will be restricted from traveling to the United States.” Says Kakaei.

"Those who are currently working with Iran are those who have been given the gift of the United States and its market, or who receive large sums of money from this place who have accepted the risk of cooperating with Iran. Therefore, the new sanctions are not a big threat to the automotive industry because all roads are closed for Iran and we are constantly circumventing the sanctions.” He said.

"In these two years, great moves have been made and strong steps have been taken for the development of technology in the country, so this embargo does not create a challenge again, but now the domestic policies of the country have become an obstacle for activities.” He said.

"The problem is that they close the hands and feet of this industry with wrong pricing. Currently, the lack of currency allocation and non-clearance of parts from customs and their non-cooperation are the main problems of this industry.” He continued.

"The flow of the country's industrial development is moving without the Americans and foreign partners. Of course, this flow is slow, and with the cooperation of the devices, this flow will move forward faster in the automotive industry.” He said.
