Khodrocar - According to Iran Khodro Managing Director, the metal and non-metallic raw materials project is in the car self-sufficiency jihad project in 98 and 99 years, 52 million Euro will be reduced. These measures, while activists believe that the share of raw materials and components of automobile production is 65%, which should lead to high currency savings in the automotive industry.
"If internalizations were for the metal materials which were imported before then it’s an interesting achievement.” Saeed Madani, expert of auto industry told khodrocar reporter.
"Several years ago, Folad Mobarakeh defined a project for the special steels used in automobiles as well as steels that had a good hardness, in which the metals were made of polymeric and aluminum materials because of their inability to produce them. The metal came from abroad.” He added.
"Given the clear production range, assuming an annual output of one million units, it would save 168 million euros, which would be 168 euros per car.” He said.
"By doing so, we will be able to replace domestic raw materials with high currency savings, so it is no surprise that the announcement of a savings of € 163 million in domestication of these materials is no surprise.” He continued.
"If the raw material is considered raw and the processing is not done, it is about 50%. Therefore, with the internalization of raw materials, a high share of production will be reduced.” He said.
"In the past years, the sheets used in aluminum radiator manufacturing were supplied with high sensitivity through import, but now steps are being taken to self-sufficient these materials, which is worthwhile.” He said.
"Since tire raw materials are only produced in a limited number of countries, it is not possible to internalize it, but in the automotive glass part of which was previously imported, domestication has taken place.” He called.
In the past, metallic, non-metallic, polymeric and even plastic raw materials were supplied through imports, which now means a high number of foreign exchange savings projects.
