The price increment in local car’s tire same as Pride happened while producers tried to increase the production in order to make a balance in the high demand market.
Khodrocar – Statistics are showing the increase in the tire production in the first half of the year that 23 million and 586 thousand tires has been produced which is 5 percent higher than last year.
"The basis of the production of the tire producers is unchanged and the bulk of imported raw materials is still subject to the state currency ، thus our production product is subject to the pricing of consumer support and producers.” Mostafa Tanha, speaker of tire industry association told khodrocar reporter.
"This year there is an effort to increase the tire production and as producers adjust their production schedule by taking feedback from the market ، this is the basis of planning to produce production so that the rise of Pride's production came under the agenda because of high demand.” He added.
"On this basis ، an increase of 22 % of Pride's tire production in the first six months of this year aims to balance the market in order to meet the market demand ، while the highest demand for tires is domestic cars.” He said.
"Despite these problems ، we are trying to produce the standard product and supply it to the market ، while the country is currently in a boycott and the country's trade sector has complicated problems that have challenged the provision of some of the raw materials of the industry through importation.” He told.
