Over night decision to clear 1048 cars from customs while there was a chance to think more and be patient to finish the case of imported cars for the last time happened from ministry of industry, mine and trade.
Khodrocar - Announcement of clearing more than a thousand cars in Sunday and executing this order in Monday showed that some procedures can be fast if they want to. However, even with the issuance of a customs clearance vehicle, it was not enforced for months, and due to the prolongation of enforcement only with the clearance of the vehicle, the date of enforcement ended.

The extension of the work was accelerated so that about 6700 cars were discharged but the work was not completed. We saw a prolongation of clearance time and now 1048 cars got out to bring the number of cars in customs to about 5,000.

Now the question is why people's money should stay in customs and they are clearly saying that there is no intention to clear rest of depoed cars.

"About 800 cars in the customs were also declared and the rest were in the banking stage and obtaining the necessary licenses for the semi-operational vehicle clearance decree, including the proposal to clear depot cars, but were rejected by the Ministry of Industry. In the end, only cars that were unlicensed were granted clearance." Mehdi Dadfar, secretary of vehicle importers association told khodrocar reporter.

"There are currently about 3,500 to 4,000 cars left in the customs, all of the vehicles owned by one company so that it will not have any cars left in the customs." He added.

"The association's plan was that if a decision were to be made, it would be a comprehensive decision for all companies, with a renewed deadline for resolving the problem and clearing cars from customs." He continued.

"The Minister of Industry does not seem to know that all of these cars are owned by one company and has only issued a license to drive a licensed vehicle, but has made the decision that it is necessary to make a decision on the remaining 4000 vehicles that need This is the reason why the Ministry of Industry has been reluctant to take this situation and leave it under the sun.” He said.

"In the first 4 months following the approval, only 600 vehicles were granted clearance because the Ministry of Industry was unable to enforce the approval. In the second two months of the extension, 6700 vehicles were cleared and there are still 4,000 vehicles remaining which are Importer’s promise to the people” He added.

"While the Minister of Industry is reluctant to extend the clearance, all corruption in the automobile trade has been handled by the Trade Development Authority, and the former Minister of Finance has embarrassed the importing companies with a corrupt decision, now. It is suggested that the number of cars remaining in the customs clearance and then the importing companies be closed." He said.
