"With the daily production of 1,800 cars, we have seen some kind of sanctions breakdown in the automotive industry, but at the same time some high-tech cars have stopped production, which has yet to be achieved." Ahmad Nemat Bakhsh, secretary of automekrs association told khodrocar reporter.
"At the same time, we have sought to reduce dependence and rely on the power of knowledge-based companies and internal makers in the production of high-performance vehicles, which gives an overview of the course of action taken to show that we have succeeded in this regard." he added.
"At the same time, the production of cars such as Peugeot 2008 or Citroen, which was a breakthrough, was limited, and even the production of alternative cars failed to meet the need, which is normal because we are now in a state of economic warfare." he said.
"In such circumstances, we need to increase the production of high-end cars to win the economic war that happened in the auto industry." he continued.
"The boycott of the industry has led to the closure of the auto industry and unemployment of thousands of people, but a look at current production levels shows the failure of sanctions in the automotive industry, but it should be noted that we are lagging behind in producing high-tech cars, of course. No action should be taken in this regard." he said.
"At the same time, work is underway to design and build new platforms aimed at the production of new cars, to focus on the internalization of the production of these parts, including the research center of the two automakers. Plans are underway to implement this." he added.
A return to a daily production record of 1800 to two thousand cars by two automakers indicates the return of automakers and parts makers to the production cycle. Although some high-tech cars are still vacant in automakers' production lines, market research shows that automakers have been able to control market demand in recent times by increasing the number of popular cars.
