The newest report of local products quality has been established from ISQI but it seems that the quality of cars has not been improved or reduced due to the sanctions.
Khodrocar – Auto industry has faced with lots of difficulties since the sanctions began. Foreign partners left the country, inability of supplying first materials and parts has made problems for the auto industry and caused the backwardness in plans and even automakers can’t fulfill their promises.
So increase of final price for automakers and increase of their debts to part makers make to force the national competition council, consumer protection organization and the government to increase prices and their effort wasn’t resultless because the government gave the permission for price increment. But the most important point among all medium range of people who can’t buy luxury cars is that what is the benefit and advantage of this price increment are they going to improve the quality?
According to the report of ISQI quality of cars is stable and only a product of IKCO has gain a quality star but totally, sanctions has effect on the quantity not quality till now. However people expect to see better cars with higher quality by this price increment.
Right now auto industry is struggling with different aspects of sanction and foreign partners has left the country so preparing parts from outside the borders is not happening and expectation of people can’t happen.
According to what you have read in previous articles of Khodrocar experts believe that CKD assemblers should make an agreement with Chinese side or find another source to import parts or at last they can replace foreign part makers with Iranian ones.
