Every week we pick out a few numbers that are so significant we have to give them a second look. Today we’re looking at key figures from BMW, Buick, Porsche, and more.

The amount of extra horsepower available on the all-new BMW M2 Competition. The sporty coupe was introduced earlier in the week, and comes pre-loaded with a hefty 405 horsepower (302 kilowatts) and 406 pound-feet (550 Newton-meters) of torque, giving it the ability to sprint to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in just 4.2 seconds.

The amount of range, in miles, available on the new Buick Enspire SUV concept. That same electric powertrain produces 550 horsepower (410 kilowatts) and gives the concept the ability to sprint to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in just about 4.0 seconds. Here’s hoping we see a production version sometime soon.

The amount of horsepower that could be under the hood of the leaked Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury SUV ahead of its debut in Beijing. The large and luxurious SUV features a "bold new grille," but borrows a number of cues from the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class before it.
