When there's real work to do, the Chevy 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD can haul some serious weight.
Khodrocar -Chevrolet has launched a new range of medium-duty trucks for handling heavy-duty work. The 2019 Silverado 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD are available in a wide array of configurations hauling just about anything.

These Silverado models will use a 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine with 350 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque. Buyers will be able to pick from two- and four-wheel-drive configurations. Inside, there's wireless cellphone charging, Bluetooth, and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A paid data plan allows for the use of a Wi-Fi hotspot. A rear air suspension is among the options.

Trucks like these put an emphasis on being usable and easily serviceable, so Chevy tweaks the models so that companies can get even more done with them. For example, the revised front end allegedly gives drivers a better downward view outside the windshield for easier maneuverability. Plus, the pickups can turn tighter from 50-degree wheel cuts. A new clamshell hood design should mean a better time for mechanics because they can now just walk up to the major components, rather than needing a ladder or the necessity to remove pieces to access the vital bits.

Buyers of these trucks often send them to upfitters for installation of custom equipment behind the cab. To make this process easier, Chevy offers multiple frame length options with seven cab-to-axle choices from 60 to 162-inches and five axle-to-back-of-frame options that come in 8-inch increments. In addition, the fuel lines now run through the frame, which means that there are fewer obstructions upfitters install their components..

The 2019 Silverado 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD will go on sale in late 2018. Chevy will announce pricing this summer.
