These two will be joined in Geneva by the Giulia Veloce Ti together with special 4C Competizione Coupe and Italia Spider models.
Khodrocar - In September 2016, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio took down the lap record for the fastest production four-door sedan around the Nürburgring with a time of 7 minutes and 32 seconds. That record is no longer in place, having been improved by Jaguar with its XE SV Project 8 lapping the Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 21 seconds late last year, but that hasn’t stopped Alfa from coming out with a special edition of the range-topping Giulia.

The Italians are doing the exact same thing with the Stelvio Quadrifoglio, the current record holder around the ‘Ring for the fastest production SUV – a performance achieved in September 2017 when the high-riding Alfa completed the lap in 7 minutes and 51.7 seconds.

Carrying the "NRING” badges, these two special editions of the Giulia and Stelvio will be strictly limited to 108 units per model to celebrate each year of Alfa Romeo history. To make them stand out from the regular models, the FCA-owned marque will paint the cars in an exclusive Circuito Grey hue and will use carbon fiber for the side mirror caps as well as the front badge and the side skirt inserts. Tinted windows, active cruise control are part of the deal, as are the Harman Kardon speakers and the 8.8-inch infotainment system.

Go for the Giulia Quadrifoglio Nürburgring Edition and Alfa will throw in a bare carbon roof representing a first for the sporty sedan. Rounding off the tweaks are the fancy Mopar-developed floor mats with a red logo, more carbon inserts for the cabin, Sparco racing seats, and standard carbon ceramic brakes. The biturbo 2.9-liter V6 engine hasn’t gone through any changes, not that it needed to anyway.

In other news, the Giulia Veloce is getting the Ti ("Turismo internazionale”) treatment with a Racing Red paint reserved to this special version. It’s basically the hottest sub-Quadrifoglio model money can buy and comes with a generous array of upgrades ranging from a black roof and 19-inch burnished five-spoke alloys to a plethora of carbon details signed by Mopar.

The Giulia Super is also gaining a Luxury Pack with a beige leather interior adorned by elegant real grey oak wood inserts. Stepping outside, it rides on 18-inch wheels backed by black brake calipers.

If you would rather have the SUV, you should know there’s a new Performance Pack for the Stelvio Super bringing Alfa’s Active Suspension system, a self-locking mechanical differential, and the company’s exquisite paddle shifters machined from solid aluminum to give a premium feel.

Last but certainly not least, the 4C is being refreshed with Competizione Coupe and Italia Spider flavors sharing the 240-hp 1.75-liter engine. The coupe gets a matte Vesuvio Grey paint whereas the Spider features a Misano Blue paint, with each body style limited to 108 cars. Both come with an assortment of styling upgrades inside and out, along with a richer list of standard equipment, encompassing things like the Akrapovic titanium exhaust and carbon accents.

All these cars will be on display at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show beginning March 6.
