Every week we pick out a few numbers that are so significant we have to give them a second look. Today we’re looking at key figures from Ferrari, BMW, Porsche, and more.

How many pounds of weight Ferrari shaved off the 488 GTB to create the new 488 Pista. Oh, and the new supercar has an extra 50 horsepower (for a total of 711 hp), plus 7 extra pound-feet of torque – enough for a 2.85-second sprint to 62 miles per hour. It’ll debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
