Khodrocar - In recent months, exchange rate fluctuations have had an impact on manufacturers and importers. Meanwhile, the part makers complained about the exchange rate fluctuations, but their complain was not effective.

Now, the question is, how this price increase is going to affect the part makers’ activity and their imports?

Reza Rezaei, Director General of Automobile and Automotive Industries Bureau told Khodrocar regarding the issue: "At present, the rise in dollar rates has had an impact on the lives of people, and has also had a serious impact on the industries like part manufacturing and vehicle manufacturing which are very dependent on the exchange rate. Part manufacturers had serious problems during the last two months.”

He adds: "Currently, major impacts of exchange rate fluctuation on different industries is worrying and if the part manufacturer doesn’t have the ability to bring a piece to the production line, it will stand out. The thing that we expect to see in the future.”

Rezaei mentiones that we they are reaching the end of the year and adds: "Workers' wage arrears have not yet been paid and it is an important issue. It is said that the economy is growing, while we are not still able to compete with other companies globally.”

He states: "Globally, Part manufacturing and automotive industry are considered as strategic industries because they can affect GNP, but in Iran everything is different.

Director General of Automobile and Automotive Industries Bureau believes that exchange rates fluctuations are the reasons for the lack of support. He believes that without a good business environment in our industries, there will be no exports.
