Every week we pick out a few numbers that are so significant we have to give them a second look. Today we’re looking at key figures from Ford, Hyundai, Ram, and Chevrolet.

The number of trims that will be available on the all-new 2019 Ford Ranger when it goes on sale… for now. The different trim levels include the base XL, the next-up XL Chrome, STX, XLT, XLT Chrome, XLT Sport, Lariat, Lariat Chrome, and the range-topping Lariat Sport. We already know that a Ranger Raptor is also on the way, but it won’t be here for a few months still.

The number or horses packed under the hood of the all-new Hyundai Veloster N. It’s the most powerful version of the Veloster the company has ever built, and the first N car that American buyers will be able to get their hands on. It mades its debut earlier this week in Detroit, and it was a stunner.

The amount of horsepower that will be available on the new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 when it debuts later in the year. Ford announced in Detroit that it would be bringing back the iconic nameplate for 2018, but apart from a few vague teasers, we won’t know all the details surrounding the potent pony car until it makes its debut.

The amount of weight, in pounds, that the new Ram 1500 loses compared to its predecessor. Thanks to the use of lightweight materials throughout, like aluminum in the tailgate and high-strength steel in the frame, the 2019 Ram 1500 should see improvements on the road thanks to its significant weight loss.
