Every week we pick out a few numbers that are so significant we have to give them a second look. Today we’re looking at key figures from Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lamborghini, and Aston Martin.

The fording depth, in inches, of the new Mercedes-Benz G-Class – that’s an impressive 70 centimeters. It’s also an increase of 3.9 inches (10 cm) from the outgoing model. While the G-Class won’t officially be revealed for another week, there’s a lot to read about already: Mercedes has released fresh info, we went for a ride in a prototype, and photos leaked out onto the internet.

The increase, in percent, of annual car sales for Aston Martin. The company shifted 5,117 vehicles in 2017, a nine-year high that came on the back of strong interest in the new DB11 and Vanquish S. Those sales volumes should only continue to grow once the DBX crossover is launched.
