Corbin Goodwin's "Trolls-Royce" is a 1979 Silver Shadow II like no other.
KhodroCar - When we first saw Corbin Goodwin's Trolls-Royce we declared that is is "better than any car you'll ever own." Well, his amazing 1979 Silver Shadow II is up for sale on Bring a Trailer, so now you actually have the chance to own what is very likely the greatest Rolls-Royce, and possibly car, in the world.

Goodwin, of "Zero-Fucks-Given" RX-7 fame, is a master car builder. His Rolls is still equipped with its original 6.75-liter V8, but it's been modified with a big twin-scroll turbocharger. The engine is also hooked up to four-speed manual gearbox sourced from a Ford Super Duty and a welded rear differential, just in case you want to try some drifting.

Interestingly, Goodwin decided to mount the intercooler externally, while the radiator is in the trunk, hence the plumbing over the roof. The Trolls-Royce also uses fancy King off-road coilovers with lots of suspension travel and its wheels and tires come from a Porsche Panamera.

Inside, there's bucket seats up front, a bench in the back and all kinds of 1970s-tastic red leather. So it's pretty much as luxurious as it was when it left the factory. Goodwin also thew in tons of references to the UK history throughout. See if you can spot them all.

You'd think that a car like this would be a mess to drive, but as our friend Matt Farah found out, it's actually not. That big V8 provides great power, and shockingly, the car handles well.

At the time of writing, bidding is up to $3866 on Bring a Trailer, with six days left to go for the auction. To whoever buys it, godspeed, and as the intercoooler says, God Save the E.U.
